Tier 1: Enterprise-Grade Social Media Reporting Tools
Designed for Large Agencies and Teams
Built for heavy-duty social media management and reporting, these tools offer advanced analytics, competitor tracking, and robust reporting capabilities. However, these features come at a premium price.
Adverity ($2,000+/month)
Adverity is an enterprise-grade platform that boasts an insane number of data integrations (i.e. 600+ connectors!), as well as a sophisticated data model to harmonize and normalize so many data points. Pricing for Adverity starts at $2,000 per month but goes up based on the number of rows you use, which is a consideration for anyone using data-heavy platforms like Google Analytics and Shopify.
Meltwater ($2,000+/month)
Meltwater has long been known as a media monitoring service. However, in 2018, the company acquired the social media engagement and analytics platform Sysomos to expand its service offering. Meltwater now offers social media reporting capabilities, in addition to scheduling, publishing, listening, and benchmarking services. As opposed to other platforms, Meltwater offers social media listening as a basic plan, and then customers can add social media reporting to their plan for an additional charge. The total for the plan that includes reporting is $2,000 per month.
Sprout Social ($1,896+/month)
Sprout Social features workflow management, scheduling, publishing, reporting, and listening capabilities. The basic price for Sprout Social is $299 per user. In order to level the playing field with the other platforms in this list, we have to add the “premium insights add-on,” which costs an additional $999. So, for three users and the premium insights add-on, Sprout Social costs $1,896 per month.
Facelift ($1,293+/month)
Facelift offers in-depth reporting and analytics, in addition to post scheduling and multi-account management functionalities. As of this writing, its base €1,199 Professional plan converts to about $1,293 USD.
Brandwatch ($1,100+/month)
Brandwatch, through its merger with Falcon.io in 2022, has become a platform encompassing both social listening and social engagement. It offers extensive data collection and analytics capabilities, allowing users to monitor brand mentions and industry trends across a wide range of online sources. The basic price for Brandwatch is $1,100 per month. Pricing increases with additional saved social listening searches.
Oktopost ($1,081+/month)
Oktopost caters mostly to B2B organizations, offering a suite of tools that prioritize social media analytics with a focus on revenue attribution, aiming to connect social media efforts with measurable business impact. This emphasis on ROI analysis, alongside its scheduling, employee advocacy, and content management functionalities, positions Oktopost as a platform designed for B2B social media marketing, distinguishing it from many B2C-focused social media management platforms. Pricing for three users plus onboarding fee comes to $12,976 for the first year (or $1,081 per month). The one-time $2,200 onboarding fee is waived in subsequent years.
Sprinklr ($897+/month)
Sprinklr now offers a scaled-down and less expensive version of its enterprise social media management suite via its “Social Self-Serve” plan. This option includes core features like social listening and analytics, allowing users to track brand mentions and measure campaign performance.
